Great Hunting Knife
I have used this now on two wild pig hunts, and I could not ask it to perform better. Everything from the "zipper" to the actual blade has held its edge well, and it came razor sharp out of the box. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my dad for xmas. I don't know much about knives but its very sharp, feels high quality and the casing/belt case it comes with seems very secure. He lost his last good knife in the woods so a secure case was important. Apparently Buck has a good reputation in the knife business and he was very excited to receive his gift.

Buck Knives 691BK Zipper is Buck's patented gut hook design. The original concept had to do with being able to open an animal as if by a zipper. Buck's designers consulted with outfitters and hunters to get the sharpened edge angles just right. The same is true for the size of the entry opening and the location of the hook. The Zipper features a 4-1/8" drop point 420HC stainless steel, wide gutting and skinning blade. It comes with texturized and rubberized handles with brass butt and finger guard, and has a fitted heavy duty black nylon sheath. Great Knife - Wrong Photo
I love this knife, it is a great product, made in America (which I like) and will hold an edge like crazy. This is the second one I have purchased and am still using one that is about 10 years old.The only reason I gave this 4 stars is that the photo is wrong. It is not the one with the wooden handle, but the rubberized one (which is better anyway).So just be careful, if you want the wood handle, this is not the right knife.
