surprised quality item
The Alvarez regent 210 classical is a very nice guitar for the great price at Amazon.,Alvarez doesn`t mention it but this guitar has an adjustible truss rod in the neck making it a quality built guitar.The finish is satin instead of gloss.Maybe be either considered a plus or negative.I myself thinks the satin finish makes the guitar look richer.Very nice sound as well as build.I suggest purchasing a tuner as this guitar requires frequent tunning since it has nylon strings.After awhile I assume the guitar will stay in tune as the strings age a bit. For the limited time left as this guitar goes out of production its a excellent buy for those who want to get into playing the guitar.I have a steel string dreadnaught guitar, I bought this for easier learning as the size and comfort of a classical guitar is much nicer.

Probably the best guitar for thie price
If you've been playing guitar for a while, you can tell the difference between a $1,000+ models and the "student" type instruments. As far as $100 guitars go, however, you'll be hard pressed to beat this.It's very sturdy and solidly build. Similar quality student guitars usually sell for $150-250 as music stores. By the time you've played enough to understand why the difference in the high price instruments, you will have gotten your money's worth and more from this one.This is a great guitar for a young person starting lessons. The cheaper sub $75 guitars really are much worse and discouraging to play. This one is very comfortable with good action and decent intonation.

Good affordable classical
I purchased this more on a whim for $100 when it was on a daily deal. I had been wanting to add a classical guitar to my arsenal. While sure it's cheap, it doesn't feel cheap. The exterior is really well crafted and I love the natural non glossy look, it kind of looks like some of the Martin models in that regards. There were a couple slight blemishes here and there, but nothing to shake a stick at. Overal it feels really comfortable in the hands, though it seems like the upper edge where my arm rests cuts into my arm more so than some of my other guitars. This could be a problem with my playing style, or the body has more friction than I'm used to since it's not glossy. It's not like it causes pain after you're done playing, but just may affect comfort while playing.As far as the sound, I really like it. I don't think it's as warm sounding as probably the more elite guitars out there, but it is still pretty warm. So far from what I can tell the intonation is...

I saw the cover, read the sticker reading that it was a UK crossover debut and "an exquisite mix of classical, world, and pop music." Hmmm, another Sarah Brightman, perhaps? Upon further noticing her as the Norah Jones of 2003 and her covering a Sting song, I figured, get it. And am I glad I did! What a voice, belonging more to the old school!Many songs are familiar here because I've heard others do them, such as "Nella Fantasia", which Sarah Brightman did on Eden. Wow.
I'm a tough critic when it comes to these classical crossover artists who are appearing all over the place these days. As a big fan of Sarah Brightman (who in many ways pioneered the classical crossover style before it was in vogue) I'll admit I'm hard-pressed to find artists who can come close to Sarah in voice, ingenuity, and flat-out fabulous recordings. However, I think this CD is downright beautiful. The arrangements (by Summer herself!) are lush but also understated, and the whole CD keeps this rich texture throughout, while also remaining interesting and fresh. I was totally won over by Summer's version of "Sposa Son Disprezzata", which I think is one of the most beautful classical pieces I've ever heard. And the violin in the beginning of "Morgen" is also quite gorgeous. Many of today's classical crossover artists cross the line into some rather pretentious stuff, but this one has heart and soul, and is quite impressive.

She begs to be played....
After a long period of research and waiting for the "right' deal, this guitar my friends,(in it's price range),is as good as it gets.I happened upon it as a daily deal and for not much over a hundred bucks couldn't be happier. It's every bit worth the retail value. Mine was delivered in top shape.No blemishes or issues at all. Tuned to a T and playable out of the carton.Craftsmanship is beautiful in every phase. The notes produced are sharp and clear. The neck width and fretting are perfect for beginner as well as advanced pickers. Small or large hands will find this beauty pleasant to play.Bought as a beginner guitar for my 15 year old...he may have a hard time getting it out of my hands.

What a great guitar...very bright top end with very resonate bass strings...narrow neck width and low fret action makes this a very accessible instrument for the beginner and very enjoyable for the intermediate guitarist.
