watch out - the sizes are confusing!
I really like my Bodum coffee presses - I have two sizes, and was delighted to see I could replace the beaker separately. But watch out if you order a replacement beaker. My small one holds 3 of what I think are ordinary cups, so I ordered the 3 cup replacement beaker by mistake. Looks like my small one is actually an 8 cup unit, and my big one (which hold 5 of my cups) is a 12 cup unit. There is no info on the Bodum itself of how big it is, so if you don't remember, it takes some guesswork to figure out whether you have a "3", "8", or "12" cup Bodum.Study the measurements carefully and get the closest match. The oz's held are the easiest way to tell, but of course if the beaker is broken you have a problem.

The wrong approach?
The idea of seeking to better understand human creativity through comparing it to certain kinds of computer operation , I must admit, seemed to me , at the outset , less than exciting. This is not to say that the Boden approach of exploring conceptual spaces in the mind, transforming them through computational concepts drawn from artificial intelligence, and through this revealing certain insights into human creativity- is totally barren or meaningless. When santa delivered this toy my boys were almost 3 yrs & just turned 5 yrs. After careful reviews this was one of two bruder trucks we purchased. The truck, because of its size, colors, and because it really works, was and is super cool to my guys. They both love it and play with it equally. Will it break? It may at some time, nothing in this world is lasting, it's plastic, and played with by boys. There are no obvious plastic pieces that stick out and look as if they'd be the first to break. However, I took the time to show my boys what parts could break and how that might happen. They can sometimes be rough boys, and they carry it around the house and up and down flights of stairs, but they love their trucks. However, days go by where they didn't even touch the truck, which surprised me. Loved by my boys
This cement mixer has moving parts such as the actual mixer and the chute (where cement comes down). It is great to use in the sandbox. My boys can pour sand into the top opening. Turn the handle one way, and the sand goes into the mixer. Turn it the other way, the sand inside the mixer gets poured out down the chute. A little pricey, but realistic and engaging.

A great addition to the job site.
My son received this toy for Christmas. He spends a lot of time with it each day making concrete. He especially likes the water tank and hose. A great feature is that it functions just like a real concrete mixer. He's pretty rough on his toys but so far this one has held up quite well.

I work across both womenswear design on the product and very much on the image in catalogue production, so I’m very involved in the photography, the styling, the choosing of the models, where our shoots are...
