Small but pretty
The picture for this pendant is deceiving; it is a lot smaller than it appears. I know the dimensions were given but the picture gives one the impression that it is bigger than it really is. My Butterfly Delights
I recently bought one of the My Butterfly collection butterflies for a friend's children, aged 8 and 11. I presented it to them at a restaurant as if I had caught it in the jar on the way. I put it on the table, tapped it a few times, at which point it started fluttering around the jar. They immediately started playing with it and didn't stop for the duration of the lunch. Before leaving the restaurant they were (politely) discussing who would carry it to the car, deciding in the end to share the duty by exchanging it half way across the parking lot. Great decorations!
Excellent decorating tool: you don't have to paint, it's easily repositionable (yeah, I did a lot of repositioning while trying to make it look "perfect" :) ), it instantly brightens and transforms your kid's room. There are enough butterflies in the package to make an impact. I personally could have used more, but that's just my personal taste. I can see how it would be more than enough for somebody who doesn't particularly care to transform a room into a "butterfly jungle". At some point the glue will probably wear off (or not?...), but I've done quite a bit of repositioning and it worked great every time leaving no tracks at all on the wall and sticking just as great the second, third and so on time. The only tiny negative thing (if you can even call it that) is that in the evening when room lights shine on the butterflies, you do see some shine, so it becomes evident that these are plastic stickers as opposed to paint, but it's really a small thing. I ordered these not exactly knowing what to expect. I wanted to decorate my 5-year olds room without ruining the walls. Right now, she loves butterflies, but will she in 2-5 years. I ordered these not knowing exactly what to expect. She (we) had a blast finding places to put these on her wall. You think 26 aren't enough, believe me, they are. I almost ordered two and I'm glad I didn't. They went on very easily (no instructions provided). Just peel and stick. I have to say, I haven't tried to remove them yet, but I can't see their would be a problem in doing that. I would definitely get something like this again. Beautiful and Fun
We absolutely love the butterflies. I put them in my girls room and there are so many that it looks like they are flying all over the room. The wings are a little transparent so if your room is painted a bright color it will definately show through. On a white wall, they look really good. So fun I Bought My Own!
I bought one of these last year for my nieces. I also got one for me, and I'm in my 30's. I waited until the spring time to send in my caterpillar certificate. They came in their own little container with just enough food. So you don't need to feed them anything. I tried to put some real food such as leaves from the plants they like to eat in the wild, but they preferred the food that came with them. I think I received 6 caterpillars and they all turned into butterflies. I let them go a day or two after they emerged. Kids are completely fascinated by the process from caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly. One word of caution, it may not be the best thing to get for Christmas since you may have to wait until spring to get your caterpillars. They will send them in the winter, but I didn't want the butterflies to die on me or freeze to death if I let them go. Top to learn more

Even the Big Guy likes it
We set up a Butterfly Garden for the kids and, as you've probably already read by others' reviews, they loved it. What surprised me most was how intrigued I found *myself* by it. All 5 caterpillars grew remarkably quickly, and all five emerged as loveable butterflies - the surprise was how I caught myself calling the kids over to look and running when they called me to take a peek at them. I bought this kit for my 5-year-old, but my 3-year-old wound up loving it every bit as much as the older one. Like Revenge? Best Ending Ever!!
I first read this book back in 1999 and recently dusted it off and read it again. One of my favorites to date. The main character, Beverly Highland has a such a hard and terrible childhood that you find yourself rooting for her and almost clapping for her towards the end. She's a woman that every woman can identify with on some level and you watch her grow up, get smart and concoct the BEST revenge you could ever imagine. She goes from being homely and timid to being strong, ambitious, shrewd, smart, plotting and a real diva. Sure wish there was a "Butterfly" club where I live!
