From a kid 's eye view
I went to see Coraline in the theaters with my friend, and we both loved it! We could'nt stop laughing, and when my dad showed me the doll one morning, I was so excited to get her as a doll! Everything about Coraline is really cool because when you put her in the sun it looks like her hair is glowing! Her rain coat is made really well and her hood fits perfectly over her head and her boots even have a little bit of mud on them! There is no shirt underneth her rain coat so if you want one you will have to find one on your own. You might have read in other reviews that you can take off her face and there is a skull underneath. Really underneath is just the inside of her head. You can move her eyes but be careful because you could scratch the paint off her eyes. Her body is sort of hard to move at first but, she will loosen up. She is really skinny so it might be easy to brake her, so I wouldn't recommend her for anyone under 10 years old. Coraline is my favorite doll I have, because of...

Great little Doll for display
Got this for my daughter after seeing the movie and she loves it. It is very small, but a collectible size and very well made looking just like the character. Not a doll for a small child, more for a teen who wants to put it on a shelf and admire.

Good Little Doll
I got this as I dig character design and like the film and book. I guess the best way to review this is to consider the audience for which it is and is NOT ideal. It's a middle of the road model/toy from a quality standpoint. It is not a plastic rip off by any means but it is not a professional figurine where you have great control over all elements of the model.I don't even think I would consider it a toy versus a doll that you would perch somewhere simply to appreciate it's aesthetic value. Overall, it is well made but there is no body underneath the raincoat so do not get the idea that this is going to be a cuddly sort of toy for a youngster. And for those of you who collect figurines, you will find that the wires or metal in the arms are a bit ungangly. In most of the images that I saw of it, her arms were crossed and she was in an ideal pose. I tried to get it to that pose only to find that I was worried I would break it. Coraline Doll is Perfect and Accurate for ALL Fans
I waited for this doll to come out for half a year.. maybe even longer and I'm sure many of you have.. and I have to say, when I was anticipating the releasing of this doll, I was frustrated by the fact that the release date was changed month after month after month... and I was really worried the doll was never going to be released. BUT FINALLY, it came in March and it was everything I thought it would be. Just like the spy doll the Other Mother made for Coraline in the motion stop movie, all the characteristics are similar! Hair is made out of thread, the coats are lined with wire so you can shape it, arms and legs are bendy, you can take off the rain coat, very durable, the face is hard but shows so much detail...its PERFECT!!! This is definitely worth your money and ALL Coraline fans will adore it... I'm 22 years old and I'm a proud owner of this doll and I normally, I don't like dolls. A collectors item or a child's playmate... use your imagination! 5 out of 5 stars!

Grandaughter Love it!
This was a Christmas gift to my Grandaughter who loves Coraline. She literally fell to her knee when she open her gift. She is her "little Me" Would highly recommend it. It is a good size for playing with.

Pretty Cool!
Before you read this review, please completely ignore what the packing and what the other reviewers say. I am a 15-year-old girl, Who loves dolls and loves Coraline. I bought this for that reason. This doll is pretty awesome, and really accurate to the one in the movie. Let me start off by saying -- this is a COLLECTOR'S ITEM rather than a toy. The box says ages 14 and up -- and even though this is older than the target age for the movie, I agree. It is very fragile and looks like it could easily break. I've only had mine for a couple of days, but nothing's wrong with it. (Mainly becauase I treasuere anything deemed "collectable".) I recommend this doll to real Coraline fans only. Not for children or people that can't be careful with things.

we LOVE this Coraline!
My daughter wanted this doll for her 7th Birthday.I was a bit disappointed in the size when I first opened the shipping box but the quality of the doll well makes up for its size.My daughter absolutely loves it!I would not mind spending the money to buy one of the other Coraline figures as well. The doll looks just like in the movie and if you watched the DVD extras on how they made Coraline you will appreciate this doll.

Accurate Product
I'm a huge fan of Coraline so I have high expectations for this doll. When I received it, it came in secure packaging, box and stuffing. The product itself is very accurate to the Coraline doll being used in the motion stop movie, where 6 inch clay dolls are used to create a story, such as bending the dolls arms and legs. The stitching on the clothes are top quality and the face on Coraline is very cute and has lots of detail to show emotion and character =). The hands and shoes can come off so I wouldn't recommend this to any children below 5 years old. The clothes can also come off. I think the only draw back to this doll is that the hair is a little see through and isn't a color I would choose for Coraline. The face of the doll also doesn't come out either, but I forced mines out revealing an empty head with two eye sockets (like the dolls used in the movie!).

I give this doll a 5-star rating! It's only about 6-7 inches tall, a little smaller than I expected. I found the price point a little high, but as a Christmas present for my 6-year old, I wasn't worried about it too much.My daughter was more than pleased with her Coraline Doll. It's more of a collectable/figurine type. She plays with it and loves it and it's quite sturdy. I plan on buying the other styles of the Coraline Dolls as well.The doll is very well detailed, looks exactly as Coraline does in the movie. Her hair isn't as dark, more of a translucent blue than a matte blue. Her face is adorable. Very well done. Adorable little expression on her face. The clothes are well made.If this is something you are thinking to collect or buy for someone, I wouldn't hesitate. Just don't expect a regular sized doll, it's pretty small.Hope you enjoy it!

Adorable and sweet
Adorable and sweet. So soft 'minky' fabric in a deep black color. Huge bright green eyes and soulful expression. Big weighted paws. Soft nose and paw pads made of faux suede. Adorable curled tail end. Small enough to carry about, yet big enough for love. Sturdy stitching and floppily stuffed. Very pleased, especially since I got 3 different ones at the same time w/ free shipping on all! Makes for a bargain!!

very cute
As an adult who had a rough day and is not ashamed of catering to her inner child, I bought this black cat (as well as the gray one) to pamper myself a bit. I must say, when they arrived I immediately felt a little better. ;) They're cute and floppy, perfect for any child (or any adult's inner child). The material is soft and they are well weighted in the extremities. For me, they were a nice pick-me-up to a bad week!

Cute but so tiny!
Based on the picture shown, I expected this cute toy to be big enough to hug. However, it is not. It is well made and durable, but thin and about 10" from top to bottom.
