solid shoe
good shoe, runs a little small, but will fit with use. i like the neoprene in the split sole instead of the leather. allows for more flexibility for a strong arch. can't get it cheaper than on amazon. Top to learn more

Amazing Shoes
I have never gotten a pair of character shoes before, so I thought they were going to be sooo uncomfortable and hard to dance in like regular high heeled shoes. They were sooo comfortable. I wore them out first and my feet were not in dire pain when I got home. Instead of half a size difference from my street shoe I got a whole size difference, which worked well. They are comfortable and easy to dance in. I definitely recommend them for a short dance for a beginner.

Quality Product
I really like this shoe. I am currently performing in a stage production that requires some vigorous dancing and was in need of a comfortable sturdy shoe. This shoe did the trick. My only complaint is that they are somewhat difficult to break in.

An awesome, but misunderstood, gem of a shoe
Perhaps the reviewers who rated this product poorly misunderstand the purpose of these shoes. They are made for serious dancers. As such, they are made to fit the foot snug like a girdle and also provide enough flexibility for proper foot movement while performing dance moves. These are great shoes for this purpose and the fit is much snugger than one would expect a "sneaker" to fit. Probably a little strange initially for someone who is buying them for workouts. But much safer than if they fit loosely. This shoe is a huge improvement over the ballet slippers I wore as a child. These shoes are also excellent for my home yoga/stretching exercises and aerobic/cardio workouts, which are done on a concrete floor with about 3/8" of mat. No problems even with exercises that require a lot of jumping around like my Zumba sessions. I find the workouts much easier on my feet than in my previous cross-trainers. The Freedom's are not in the least bit "flimsy," though they are not... Top to learn more

Super light weight!
Feels like I am not wearing a shoe. I compete in fitness and would like to perform barefoot but I dont know how to do that with a little support on those hard surfaces. So I found this shoe. Much more light weight than the cheer shoes I used to buy, but yes, a little less supportive too. I love this shoe to pieces though. One thing about this one, I have to buy 2 a year, but this depends on how much you use them, and in my case, it is a lot.I highly recommend this product if you are a dancer, gymnast, or fitness competitor. not for serious dancers but good exercise shoe
Great for Zumba! I ordered these for Zumba as my running shoes had too much traction and were making my knees hurt. I got a size larger like some of the reviews suggested, but after several weeks' wear, they are stretching out so I would recommend ordering your real size. Not enough lateral support for heavy use but they are a great lightweight mesh shoe with no need for socks. Top to learn more

Comfortable with good support
I bought these for Zumba classes because regular sneakers are clunky and stick to the floor, making it difficult to pivot, slide, and shake to the latin beat. I'm enjoying the class so much more with the right shoes. According to the Zumba instructor, these shoes shouldn't be worn for other fitness classes, so the price offered on Amazon.com was just right. My street shoe size is 8; and based on the reviews I read, I bought a size 9, and they fit.6/5/2010 - I am on my second pair!! The first pair lasted through 2-3 Zumba classes per week, AND when they got a little stinky, I'd throw them into the wash (cold water gentle cycle). Great shoe for a great price! Top to learn more

Finding the right size for these great shoes
Ok, after reading about Capezio sizes and after a call to Second Skin Store for sizing, I ordered a size 8 1/2. The insole measures 10" and I figured they would fit well. Wrong! They are narrower than regular sneakers.I take Zumba and have a lot of other classmates looking for a dance sneaker. We all wear them with white gym socks. D, who wears a size 7 always, bought the 8 1/2. G, who wears a size 7 1/2 to 8 (but prefers narrow in the 8), fit into the size 9. I wear an 8 street shoe and fit into the 9 1/2. So I guess a size and a half up is what's working for us.The arch in the center of the shoe is high and so it feels a little strange. I wore them for class last night and they were great. I might put a small heel pad into the shoe if I don't get accustomed to the arch. Swiveling and turning were a breeze. This sizing is the same for the Rock-It. Hope this helps! Top to learn more

YAY! Made working out so much easier.
I was doing Zumba and Richard Simmons dance work outs, and my running shoes were killing my feet. These have a great amount of give where needed. BUY 2 Sizes UP from your American size. I were an 81/2 to 9 and the 11 fit great.Highly recommend. Top to learn more
Love These Dance Sneakers
I love these dance sneakers. I bought them for Zumba Class. It's much easier to do the steps and they make me look better than I am. The sneakers glide easily on a hard floor and are very shock absorbent. I usually wear a street shoe of size 7 1/2 and a size 8 for sneakers. Going by their drop down which converts to USA size, I ordered a Size 10 and it fits great. As other reviewers mentioned, you need to carefully review the size conversion. Great sneaker at a great price. I also wear them practicing in my living room on rug which works fine and your feet do not get stuck which could damage your knees. I may even use these for ballroom dance lessons. Top to learn more

Zumba Shoes
I bought these shoes for Zumba. They really help your knees because of the flexibility. They recommended 2 sizes larger but I would recommended only 1 size larger. I wear a 6 1/2 and bought an 8. I think a 7 would fit perfect. They didn't have 1/2 sizes. Top to learn more
