Let me start this review by saying..... I hate opera, I am a grandma ie..old lady and have always hated opera voices, no matter whose they were.Well Il Volo has changed that, the first time I heard them open their mouths I knew I was hearing something special.Rich voices full of passion and a love for their art, emotion and an evidence of the enjoyment for the very words and music,a pride and devotion to their heritage all shines through and transaltes into a wonderful experience in a world that sees far too few young people embrace our best traditions. I have had this MP3 on my computer every day since I bought it. I am beginning to memorize the songs, and they are in Italian, I do not speak Italian.Don't take my word for it, listen to the samples, and fall in love with some of the most beautiful, passionate voices you have heard in a long time. Not 5 stars, 10 stars!!!!!!

Il Volo Takes Flight
This CD and the DVD are not yet released. The three young Italian men who perform are unique and so very talented. I have their original release and enjoy it thoroughly. You can check them out on their facebook page, several videos are available to view there.I am an American grandmother who grew up listening to my dad's 78 albums with some of the selections Il Volo perform ~ what lovely memories from three such special voices. I am anxious for Feb. 28, 2012 to arrive, when the CD and DVD~ from their PBS appearance ~ will be released (after being shown on television.) Hope everyone will give themselves a special treat and latch on to their own copies !

Confused about the DVD
First, I cannot wait to get this DVD, I love these boys, they are fantastic. Now I ordered this DVD but noticed from Il Volo on Facebook that there is a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition. Up top Amazon lists another DVD but doesn't clarify the difference between this one and the other. I have now ordered both but really only want the Deluxe, which has 17 songs and the Standard has 15 songs yet the songs listed on the "other" DVD shown here on Amazon shows 15 songs with 2 from the Deluxe that aren't on the Standard. So if this sounds confusing it's because it is. I hope this gets clarification before these DVD's ship.

Love these "boys"!
I have their original debut CD and have been anxiously awaiting this new DVD. There is something about these boys that stirs my soul. I am a 73 year old grandmother and I can only go a few days till I have to put their CD on and listen to their magnificent voices. I call them "My Boys". To me they have the greatest voices I have ever heard, and the way their vocals are blended within the songs is absolute perfection. If you haven't heard them before, you are in for a real treat. They sound so much more mature than their young years and I hope they will stay together and perform their beautiful harmonies for many years to come.

When DeWys informed McCarry that officers were entering to secure the house while they obtained a search warrant, Angel Moreno Jr. allegedly came to the door and refused to allow the officers to enter, demanding that they get a search warrant first. Moreno was bound over for trial on one charge of resisting and obstructing a police officer, and one charge of resisting and obstructing a police officer causing injury. When an officer placed his shoulder against the door to prevent it from being closed, a struggle ensued between Moreno and the officers. She refused to allow the officers into the house without a warrant. Officers then entered the house. When three other officers arrived at the scene, the house was surrounded. She admitted that under-age drinking was going on in the house and that she knew Adams, but denied that he was in the home. In a 5-2 decision, the court ordered that charges be dropped against Angel Moreno Jr. , a western Michigan man who was accused of obstructing officers at his home in Holland. Moreno said his right of due process was violated by a lack of notice, claiming no reasonable person would have been aware or known they could be charged for defending theirs own home against an aggressive police officer acting without a warrant. HOLLAND (WWJ/AP) - The Michigan Supreme Court says people can resist police officers who unlawfully enter their homes. Lower courts had upheld charges of resisting police, based on a 2004 Supreme Court decision, but justices on Friday said that case was wrongly decided. DeWys asked if Adams was in the house, but the driver indicated that he was unsure.
