Perfect extra set of forks
Ok ..... this is what I was looking for. I was throwing a party at my house and didn't want to use plastic forks. So I bought these. They are perfect, if you don't want plastic. They aren't something I would buy for everyday use, but for a big party, why not! I looked into renting forks and the place I was going to rent them from wanted .50 a piece. So, I just decided to buy them. These type of forks you would find at a fast food restaurant, nothing extra special, but they work. perfect alternative to plastic. Differences in weight, thickness make a difference
About two months ago, I decided to upgrade my flatware and purchased the 50 piece WMF Manaos/Bistro flatware set. I was very happy with this purchase, as the utensils are high-polish, clean easily and are the right weight - not too heavy, not too light. They are also made with no sharp edges, so they feel good in your hand when using them. I wanted to add on to my set and decided to buy a set of 4 dinner forks, 4 salad forks, 4 teaspoons and 4 large spoons. The moment I handled them, I could tell they were different from my original set. They looked identical to the original, however, were thinner at the handle upon closer inspection, lighter weight and pretty easy to bend. It made a difference in how they felt during use. To be sure I wasn't nuts (because after all, the two side by side utensils looked identical), I weighed a utensil from my 50-piece set and then weighed the 4-piece version with my digital scale. Favorite forks
The price was a bit more then getting forks at the dollar store (when shipping is included). I was expecting them to be thin easily bent forks that I would use for awhile and eventually throw away. They are fairly thick and heavy and a lot better then I was hoping for (especially for the money). Top to learn more

WHAT HAPPENED: The Tribune Co. , which owns The Chicago Tribune, LA Times and other papers, started a probe of Michaels' conduct in 2010 after an unflattering portrait of his management style appeared in The New York Times. " The 28-year Best Buy veteran joins a list of big-name CEOs who stepped down or were fired after getting into trouble for their actions outside of the corner office. Through the course of the investigation, though, HP said it discovered that Hurd had falsified some reports to disguise some expenses he incurred that ranged in price from $1,000 to $20,000 each for meals, and travel with Fisher.
