Keeping It "Kuhl" with the Antec H20 620
I decided to purchase this unit to cool my over-clocked Sandy Bridge(4.4Ghz) i5 2500k processor. Previously I had installed a Cooler Master 212+, and was fairly impressed by that "air cooled" unit (all temperatures were well within the acceptable range, below 60C). So, this was not an upgrade based on necessity, rather I wanted to keep my CPU as cool as possible for longevity purposes. Also, I like the low-profile look of these water units better than the huge metal structures offered by many of the air coolers. After the installation I was very pleased with the units performance, and can say that it really is an incredible bang for the buck! Very good cooling
I use this on my I7 920@4.2ghz. It cools about the same as a high end air cooler, 28C idle and 55C load. The big difference for me is a cooler case and cooler room. The N and S bridge are each 5C cooler now, the motherboard 3C cooler and my office is 5F cooler since installing this in my system. Installation took about 20 minutes and was not complicated but the instructions could be better. It's a great all in one water cooler that is compact and quiet and does a great job.

Very, very cool...
Back in the day, water-cooling meant putting together a collection of parts at a premium price and hoping for no leaks! Scary to say the least! Antec (working with Asestech) has put together a great CPU watercooling system for a low, low price. Quality components come together to make a cool cooler. I installed this in my PC running an Intel Core2Quad Q9400(2.53GHz stock overclocked to 3.2GHz I'm still working on the overclock!) stock cooler allowed it to get up to 80°C under full load using Prime95, the 620 stays at 40°C! I need to work on voltages and such to overclock farther but I'm super impressed with the way the 620 sheds heat! The only issue I had was with the radiator itself, I measured the case fan on the back to insure that the 620 would fit and upon attempting to install it I found that I needed to rotate the 620 90° so that the tubing is near the motherboard.

The utimate bridge book
First, my mother tongue is French, I'm sure you will excuse my style. In the past, I read Mollo, Kantar, Grant... always on a quest to find a great and complete bridge book and never entirely satisfied... too simplistic, too advanced, hard to read, poor teaching skills... I wanted to find a book that was covering both the dummy play and the defense. Also, I wanted to revisit the very basics, to have a solid start, and then to go gradually into more complex techniques, covering virtually all aspects of the play, including the more advanced techniques. I was looking for the ultimate book: the Bridge Bible written by a brilliant teacher! When I was not really looking for a book anymore, I finally tried Watson's book. Every accomplished bridge player has a copy of this book, but don't expect them to lend it to you. This is the oldest and most comprehensive guide to understanding the cards. There is a wealth of information on suit combinations, basic strategies, and other principles of declarer play. You won't be able to read it in a weekend, or even a month, so plan to take it slowly and study each chapter carefully. A bestseller for over 65 years. My mother gave me this book almost 40 years ago, and I still find valuable information in it.

A classic, but dry
The Play of the Hand remains one of the definitive books on declarer play and defense. It's a excellent reference and well worth reading if you want to improve your game. Unfortunately wading through it is something of a chore... it's rather dry. Unless you're serious about "studying" bridge, this book probably isn't for you. Try "Card Play Technique" by Victor Mollo -- it's equally thorough, covers many of the same topics and is written in wonderfully engaging and humorous prose.

Greatest submarine book ever written.
I could not put this book down. O'Kanes writing puts the reader inside the sub taking part in every detail of the Tang's patrols during WWII. I found myself refering to the maps every time he gave a description of the Tang's approach to enemy shipping and being able to see his detailed discriptions of the area thru the periscope. O'Kane's memories of details of shooting setups and the details of men at their stations in time of war is uncanny. This is truly a book that takes the reader to the dark days of WWII and the frustration of fighting with defective torpedos and equipment and the "jury-rigging" the crews had to do to make things work and in most cases make equipment better than what was issued. O'Kane was not only a great leader of men he is one of the great heros of WWII. It would be an honor to shake his hand.

A Legend With Great Writing Skills 7 Stars
O'Kane's the real deal, sailor, warrior, leader, survivor and writer. This is his story and that of the USS Tang, one of the most successful submarines operating in the Pacific. O'Kane was one of a new breed of submarine skippers who traded caution for results with great success, but at huge risks. One of the most effective tactics was to take the surfaced submarine into the middle of Japanese convoys at night, attacking multiple ships and then escaping to the depths. The action is heart stopping and explains why the Navy pulled some of the more conservative older skippers out of their boats and replaced them with men like this. But the story is much more than simply tactics and bravery above all expectations, it is a story about true leadership. Young MBA's would do better asking themselves what characteristics of leadership did O'Kane and his officers utilize to achieve so much with so very little in tangible rewards to offer their crews...

Excellent history of submarine Tang by her only CO.
By the time of Tang's launch in 1944 most of the early war torpedo problems had been solved and better radar and tactics were in place. Submarine technology was state of the art. Bright, agressive officers like Dick O'Kane were the ramaining element to gain ultimate seccess. "Clear The Bridge" privides a well written and consise chronology of the operations of Tang. O'Kane personalizes Tang's history by including some of the stories of the men who served on her. We first met O'Kane in the pages of "Wahoo" commanded by "Mush Morton". O'Kane credits much of his success to the training he received serving under Morton as Executive Officer. The book is a microcosm of the great conflict that was WW II. The Allies won the conflict through the courage and agressiveness of men like O'Kane and her crew.
