Voice from Heaven
Let me start this review by saying..... I hate opera, I am a grandma ie..old lady and have always hated opera voices, no matter whose they were.Well Il Volo has changed that, the first time I heard them open their mouths I knew I was hearing something special.Rich voices full of passion and a love for their art, emotion and an evidence of the enjoyment for the very words and music,a pride and devotion to their heritage all shines through and transaltes into a wonderful experience in a world that sees far too few young people embrace our best traditions. I have had this MP3 on my computer every day since I bought it. I am beginning to memorize the songs, and they are in Italian, I do not speak Italian.Don't take my word for it, listen to the samples, and fall in love with some of the most beautiful, passionate voices you have heard in a long time. Not 5 stars, 10 stars!!!!!!

Another Great Book from the Queen of Clean
When you have three kids (and hubby) it is very easy to become inundated with stuff and lose sight of the purpose of each room in your home. Enter Colettes new book - she takes you through each room of the home outlining what should (and shouldn't be there). The coverage of the bathroom made me laugh - I have heard of people storing books in their bathroom but board games? Although I did once visit a bank client who had bananas stored in his toilet (yuck!)Anyway back to the book :-). For ideas and practical advice Colette really knows what she is talking about (and her first book is great too). Buy this book today and while your home may not look as pretty as the pictures in this book (mine doesn't!) it will look so much better if you put these ideas into action.

A Helpful Book With Lots of Ideas on Organize All The Stuff We Accumulate
Okay so I promised my wife I would clean out a few rooms in our home, organize and throw away all the stuff we have accumulated over the years. But honestly I needed a little help. So I went to Kindle to see if there was a book available that would give me ideas and guide me through this task. I bought this book about simple home storage solutions and I have to say it was just the ticket.It starts off with the sentence, "As we go through life we accumulate a whole lot of stuff." How true.... how true. Wow could I relate, I thought. I poured myself into this, what I soon found to be, very helpful book. The author does a good job taking you through room by room, explaining what to do. I especially appreciated how the book helped me with ideas on how to maximize the limited space we all have in our homes for storage and when all the work is done how to how to become more clutter free.

Sound, helpful advice written in a friendly, non-boring manner
So many books of this ilk are written in a dry, clipped way, almost as if they are a series of quick articles written for the fill in bits in women's magazines. Colette Leigh injects flow and personality into the book, so it makes a subject that I find difficult interesting to read. It's not too long, so I was able to read it in one sitting...and now I am primed to leap into action!We moved a few months ago to a smaller home and even after a lot of throwing things out, there is still too much clutter, especially as we have so many books in each room. Even bearing in mind that the author lives in the States where homes are generally somewhat larger than they are in the UK, I have picked up some good ideas to implement - nothing startling, but many imaginative ideas, and all making good sense...just a few changes and it will be a lot better.I don't do any of these things mentioned, but I laughed at the list of things not to have stored in the lounge/sitting room;...

Il Volo Takes Flight
This CD and the DVD are not yet released. The three young Italian men who perform are unique and so very talented. I have their original release and enjoy it thoroughly. You can check them out on their facebook page, several videos are available to view there.I am an American grandmother who grew up listening to my dad's 78 albums with some of the selections Il Volo perform ~ what lovely memories from three such special voices. I am anxious for Feb. 28, 2012 to arrive, when the CD and DVD~ from their PBS appearance ~ will be released (after being shown on television.) Hope everyone will give themselves a special treat and latch on to their own copies !

Confused about the DVD
First, I cannot wait to get this DVD, I love these boys, they are fantastic. Now I ordered this DVD but noticed from Il Volo on Facebook that there is a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition. Up top Amazon lists another DVD but doesn't clarify the difference between this one and the other. I have now ordered both but really only want the Deluxe, which has 17 songs and the Standard has 15 songs yet the songs listed on the "other" DVD shown here on Amazon shows 15 songs with 2 from the Deluxe that aren't on the Standard. So if this sounds confusing it's because it is. I hope this gets clarification before these DVD's ship.

Love these "boys"!
I have their original debut CD and have been anxiously awaiting this new DVD. There is something about these boys that stirs my soul. I am a 73 year old grandmother and I can only go a few days till I have to put their CD on and listen to their magnificent voices. I call them "My Boys". To me they have the greatest voices I have ever heard, and the way their vocals are blended within the songs is absolute perfection. If you haven't heard them before, you are in for a real treat. They sound so much more mature than their young years and I hope they will stay together and perform their beautiful harmonies for many years to come.

Great story, in need of editing
I enjoyed the story, particularly because I am a lawyer and have great interest in the legal history of London. However, the book could have benefited from an editor. The misspelled words, grammatical errors, and typos were very distracting. I would like to continue reading this series, but I hope more care goes into the rest of it.

A rolicking romp through Tudor London
For a novellette from a new writer, it has a ring of realism that can only come from someone well versed in the Tudor era and the underlying shenanigans going on in the time just before Cromwell's ascendancy.For what is on the surface just a game of cat and mouse, the book weaves enough of the times, the reality of life back then, to make it an engaging romp. Red Ned makes a wonderful choice as the "hero" of the piece.Slightly debauched, cunning (well he is a lad studying to be a lawyer) he finds himself drawn further into a situation he spends all the book extracting himself from.looking forward to reading the rest of the series as they become available.

Probably the best book in the series yet!!
This book contains some really good work. The previous books had a few projects here and there, but this one is pretty consistent on the quality of design. I especially like the number of projects from Arizona. (Dessert architecture out there is up and coming.) As said before, I love these books because of the inclusion of key building details and the neccessary drawings to "see" the work past just the flashy photographs. Once again, I recommend the books in this series for someone interested in contemporary residential design, and for the designer who might need some ideas to get "un-stuck." I like to use them as visual aids to clients, also.
