Good start to the O'Hurleys ... if you read it first
Please, I implore the publishers of these books to label them more clearly. "The Last Honest Woman" is book one of a 4-part series about the show-business O'Hurleys; unfortunately, not knowing that, I already read the other 3 parts. That said, it was fun to go back and revisit where this story began, and to see how and why Abby, the "middle" triplet, did not follow in the family business of entertaining others for a living.Dylan Crosby, the writer who comes to chronicle the life of Abby's late husband, is almost too good to be true -- he likes her kids, cooks, pitches in around the house ... and of course falls in love with Abby. This is a very light read but a sweet tale.

This is the ONLY toy my rottweiler has ever had that has survived his wrath! If you spend loads of money on the so called "durable" dog toys meant for "aggressive chewers" and the toy lasts 10 minutes, then THIS is the toy for your dog!! Indestructible no, but they do last longer then any other toys we have gotten. We bought all three, the Huck, Hurley and the Tux. The Tux is the only one that is left.THIS ONE WAS HIS FAVORITE BUT IT DIDNT LAST LONGThis might not be the case for your dog, it's not like it's poor or weak or anything, it's just that Milo really really chewed this toy like crazy. HE LOVED IT.The Hurley (stick) lasted a few days as he was chewing on it for hours and hours and he simply LOVED IT. That was his favorite. He split it in the middle and we had to take it away only after a few days.After splitting the Hurley, it didn't take him long to move onto the Huck. The Huck lasted a few WEEKS but then once he started getting into it, we had to take it away. Milo (1 year yellow lab) started getting it apart and then the rest came apart in chunks kinda fast. This did last WEEKS tho. Unfortunately it's just a little to heavy to toss in the house. It's more a chew toy...

They were so taken by the game that they went straight done to J K Cs Store to buy Hurleys and Sliotars and had been seen around the Abbey Court Hotel and the town practicising with Hurley and ball. It is a factor in all these groups that once Hurling is introduced to them they cant get enough of it and i feel that this market can be huge for the G A A. I hope to add to the Hurling experience next year with an exhibition of Hurley making. The whole group (including the coaches and partents) really enjoyed the drills which culminated in a Puc Fada competition which was won by Chris Scramstad who was presented with a Hurley and Sliotar by Cllr.
Hurley will be a great asset to Wonder Woman. Elizabeth Hurley (last seen leaving Shane Warne’s cul-de-sac Blackberry relationship) will play the villain in NBC’s new “Wonder Woman”.
