Amazing jerky, very satisfied
I have been buying and trying different brands of beef jerky for a while now and this is easily one of my favorites! The taste is delicious -- not too sweet and the spice mix has a kick to it which I love. The texture of the beef is great and I cannot imagine this bag lasting very long. Amazon, please get this back in stock! Also, the price can not be beat -- all of the jerky I had in the past that was comparable in taste to this one has been exceedingly more expensive. Great snack....even during battle!!
I'm a former Marine, got out after 8 years, did two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. I was first introduced to beef jerky during MCT (Marine Combat Training)...which is where you learn warfighting techniques. For those LONG, sweaty, depressingly hot days in NC...this was an excellent snack. Beef Jerky is nutritious, low in fat content and tastes great! It also is a great chewy snack for those 'hurry-up-and-wait' days. Perhaps the biggest benefit for me was the salt....if you're out in the sun all day, you lose a lot of sweat....the Marine Corps motto should be 'drink water'...but as for electrolytes/ salt....this snack does an excellent job. I love the peppered taste...probably because I'm Jamaican. The 1.5-ounce snack size fits perfectly in your pocket and works out to be about half the price you'd pay at the gas station (thanks Amazon). I have a couple of buddies over in Afghanistan and I sent each two packs....for them and to pass around to their troops...they love it...

Cheaper at Walmart
Good stuff....but. I'd gotten some at Walmart but didn't really pay attention to the price (for one bag). I enjoyed it so much that I searched for it on Amazon (in bulk) and ordered three different flavors. I happened to be in Walmart the next morning and discovered to my surprise that it was significantly cheaper there. (Walmart $3.50 for a 3.5oz bag, Amazon about $23.00 for ten 1.5oz bags - almost 50 cents an ounce more from Amazon plus you have to purchase it in bulk). I find that I tend to order blindly from Amazon when I'm actually purchasing from Amazon and not a third-party vendor because I'm so used to fantastic savings. This was a bit of a wake-up call. I will give kudos to Amazon for their customer service policies, though. I was able to cancel my order relatively hassle free. Top to learn more

Outstanding jerky
I'm a big fan of good jerky; made plenty of my own, and this stuff is great. It's a little pricey, but the quality and flavor are worth it. It is on the sweet side, but that's to be expected hence the name "sweet n' spicy". You won't be disappointed. I couldn't keep my hands off the 8 bags and scarfed them down in 4 days--dirty gluttonous pig! Top to learn more

I recently have become more health conscious and am trying to eat more organic foods, staying away from hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, etc. You know, all the stuff that makes you fat:) This jerky is a great & healthy LowFat snack!! love the texture!
This jerky is my favorite. Is easy to eat yet has substance. Thick chunks that aren't mushy. The flavor is excellent and you can tell it's made from quality meat- no stringy or "mystery" surprises. I'm hooked!*************************************************Just got a new batch and I have to agree with the reviewer who also just got some of this- SALTY! Can't taste anything else. Does seem a little greasy but it was on my step (delivered there) and it was 100 degrees today. May have been from that. Texture is the same but that salt. Hope it's a fluke. Very good jerky
My wife gave me a package of Buffalo Bills "Premium Hickory Beef Jerky Pieces" for my birthday. So being the cool guy that I am, I took it on a recent 4-wheeling trip and shared it with my compadres. Here's what they had to say:"WATER!!!!!!!!!!"LOL! Seriously, this IS good jerky. But it's a tad bit salty, and has a VERY distinct soy flavor. Maybe because the first three ingredients are beef, water, and soy. haha! If you do not like soy, you will NOT like this jerky. But that aside, it was a good-sized bag, and we demolished it in pretty short order. The pieces were not too big or small, and it was not chewy. It was maybe a tad bit hard, but it was not sinewy. This was premium beef - no grissel! I highly recommend this and other Buffalo Bills jerky products.Just be sure you have something to drink (it goes great with beer)! Top to learn more

Well, I broke down and got this item and mixed up a... I have a Nesco dehydrator (see my other review nesco fd-60), and 3 lbs ground beef fill all the trays with the flat jerky strips. I’ve made a few rounds already and this little fella takes about 1lb of ground beef and spits out jerky strips onto your dehydrator. Choose from three attachments to create jerky strips, sticks, or double strips. If you a fan of Beef Jerky and are getting a little annoyed by those little bags that containe hardly anything but a big price than this is an option you might want to check out. I find this gun very easy to use and fill compaired to the much smaller model, I was feeling that thing at least seven times for two pouns of jerky. Strips of meaty jerky make great snacks for day hikes, canoe trips, or around the camp fire–even at home on a Sunday watching the game.
