Great Toy and Well Made
Great size and the baby kanga comes out of the pouch too (not stitched in). My toddler loves them both and the big Kangaroo sits up nicely too. Highly recommended - well made and looks great!

delightful
This kangaroo with her baby is delightful and made a wonderful Christmas gift for my three year old grandchild. It is soft and functional. I also bought the book Kangaroo Christine and together this made a very nice gift. I am extremely happy with both choices together and so is my grand-daughter!

Cuddle baby
I purchased this for my daughter to use for a third-grade presentation on Australia. It was a wonderful visual to use for a report on kangaroos. She loves it and often carries it with her in her backpack. Cuddly, soft, and downright interesting.

very good toy
My son has a whole collection of Schleich animals, he just loves them. They look very realistic, the toy is very durable. Probably the only thing you should bear in mind is it's quite heavy so not safe for babies.

Red kangaroos live in the arid plains of central Australia and are the largest surviving marsupials anywhere in the world -- they can grower taller than a full grown man! Marsupials give birth to their babies early and then carry them in protected pouches until they can survive on their own. Red kangaroos' babies, or joeys, remain in their mother's pouches for up to a year while she nurses and nurtures them. Red kangaroos are herbivores; this means they only eat plants. They can go long periods of time without water as long as they have access to green plants. They're nocturnal and spend their days sleeping or resting. When male kangaroos fight, it looks like they're boxing. They stand on their hind legs and push, jab, and kick at each other. Red kangaroos have powerful legs and can jump as much as thirty feet in one bound. They live in groups called mobs that range anywhere from thirty to over three hundred animals. Females have a bluish-gray coat with a hint of brown and are called 'blue flyers.'

Fun Facts: Kangaroos are able to attain speeds of forty miles per hour while hopping.

I am collecting things like these so that one day I can pass down different kinds of animals to my children. I hope that one day having these sort of animals you wouldn't see every day in the USA will spark their curiosity and learn how to appreicate them. Plus I've worked at a zoo and just love animals!

Cute toy for a small child
My 2 year old has an interest in kangaroos, so I thought this would be a good little toy for him. He really enjoys the kangaroo and take it along with him. It is a little smaller than I had expected, but it seems well made and has so far held up well.

Cute Kangaroo
I bought this plush for my son's pre-school class because they are "Kangaroos" and his teacher said they needed one for the children to play with. The toy isn't as big as I had envisioned, but that's my own fault ... it does say how tall it is! But the children love to play with it and it's adorable.I received the kangaroo fairly quickly and it was wrapped in cute animal print tissue paper ... a nice touch.

My little pouch is handy I've found
It helps me carry my baby around
I hop up and down without any fear

This proud mama is sitting up nice and tall so you can have a good look at her sweet baby. She is mostly light brown (as is her Joey) with cream inner ears and underbelly. Pouch has black button eyes and nose; her baby's eyes are black thread. This Beanie Baby is highly collectible, but if you're buying for a young child, be aware that while Joey is sewn in, with tugging he could come loose--and if removed from his pouch, he could pose a choking hazard. Pouch's problems and perfects
I admit thhis beanie babie is absolutley adorable! The only problem I have found with it is the joey kangaroo in the pouch does not have a full body it has a head and then the rest goes into a point so it can fit into the pouch. Don't get me wrong its sewed in but if the kid is plaking with it sometimes the piont on the head will worm its way out!

Cute
This is a cute Beanie. It is soft and stands on it's own. I don't much care for the baby, though. It kind of looks like a clump of fur with dots for eyes and bent pieces of felt for ears. I somehow managed to get him out of the kangaroo's pouch. I think he's only attached by a few threads, so I probably just pulled or cut them. If you do that, though, be careful that you don't lose him, because you might want it for display or to sell with it's mama. Overall a good toy for Beanie Baby lovers.

Great story!
This was the longest book my two-year-old would sit through... again and again and again. She loved acting the part of the little heroine and readily recited "you throw him out!" with much enthusiasm. The drawings are entertaining and the end is lovely. I would whole-heartedly recommend this darling story.

One of my favorites
I remember this book from when I was little. I now work in a library (in the kids section) and decided to do it for one of my 3-5 yr/old storytimes and they loved it! They usually don't care for books that are this lengthy but they kept up and loved this one. After the storytime everyone wanted to check it out but sadly we only had one copy. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good book to read to their child or class. It's great fun!
