Great experience and price
I ordered from Hirt's Gardens and actually had a very favorable experience. I have ordered plants from various online and catalog companies. The plants are always shipped small or barefoot to provide a better chance of transplant. Hirt's provided beautiful healthy plants that included roses and rhododendrons. They survived transplant and the roses bloomed within 4 weeks of planting. The dendrons will take a little longer before they mature and flower, but I am thrilled. The post office goofed a second order I had placed by delivering to the wrong address ( has happened before) and sent the order back. Hirt's gave me an immediate refund until they processed the order again. They were polite and courteous and gave me an entirely fresh order of beautiful healthy plants. This was 9/2011. I am placing another order for my spring plants.

Morden Blush Rose
I have had 3 of these shrub roses in my garden for nearly 10 years. They are not only beautiful, but also tough as nails (Canadian bred). I don't have to take any special winter precautions, even here in cold Wisconsin. Although they have very little scent, the color variations through the season (repeat bloomers) are very pretty. They start out in June with a profusion of blush pink blooms, then progress to ivory-white during the heat of summer, finishing off with clear true pink as autumn cools.
