Same size as any other stick and great price.
My son is new to the game so I bought this one. He was afraid that it was cheap and he wouldn't have a stick like everyone else - but everyone else has sticks that look almost identical. I bought the Reebok black one, too, because it looks so cool and now I can use this one to practice with him. Overall, a very good investment and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one as your primary stick.

STX Stinger lacrosse stick for the beginner
I purchased this item for my grandsons birthday. He wanted to try using a lacrosse stick to see if he wanted to go out for the sport. The price was right for a beginner but I did find the net to be on the small side but for him to learn how to catch and throw, it seems to work fine. I had priced sticks at numerous sporting goods stores and found this to be the best bargain.

Not for girls
Apparently boys and girls have two different kinds of sticks. We bought this for my daughter and certainly looks like a great stick, but unfortunately, the coach won't allow her to use it.

STX AMP Attack LAX Stick Review
I haven't played lacrosse since high school but found this stick to be very rigid with a well-constructed LAX head. The strings were firm and woven nicely. The deep pocket holds a regulation ball quite nicely with very minimal adjustment to the pocket. My HS stick is very old and now since my kids want to play, I bought this one to shoot around with them. I bought them some very inexpensive starter sticks. This stick is durable and serves it's purpose well: Simple catch and run type of play. I am happy with the purchase.

like another reviewer i used to play the game and am getting back to it teaching and playing with my son.the usual 'beginner' sticks seem too 'beginner' with an oversized, low pocket and slow release. although there's not extra holes to customize the pocket like the expert ($$$) stuff, this stick as delivered already strung has a nice feel and release and still a good pocket for an intermediate or even higher level player. my son (12 yrs old) loves this stick, and even at his beginner level he can feel the difference between this and the generic beginner stick by a different manufacturer. although a generic shaft is included, my son preferred it to the (more decorative) beginner stick as well, which surprised me.although this stick does not have all the customizable bells and whistles of the more specialized, custom strung top shelf gear, this is a great all-around stick especially considering amazon's price.very pleased.

These FiddleSTX are perfect for a young kid! The ball is a little softer than the real thing for safety, but not so much that you can't play right. The nets are adjustable as well, so you can get a deeper pocket if you want.
