wonderful lawn
we recently planted this grass seed inour front yard. Sure enough the seed sported in 5 days. The grass was long enough to mow in alittle more than 2 weeks. We were very impressed with our new lawn. I cannot praise this grass seed enough. I don not know how our lawn will survive the hot summer months, because we only recently planted the lawn.

Great Seed - Highly recommend
Great grass seed. I live in Staten Island, New York (NYC) and this seed is great! Got it because it was cheap ($2.89 in 2007) . My front lawn was all weeds and I had dead sod in another spot. I turned the lawn so that it was straight dirt (its live clay / hard clumpy dirt here). Lawn faces the west so it gets good sun in the noon-afternoon. Threw down some seed and watered for the first 3 days. I went to FL for a week for Easter (April 2009) and when I came back - I have a lawn!Bag says to wait till it is 70 degrees but I threw it down in the 60s, then it dipped to the 40s for 3 days then stayed about 50s- it came up anyway. I felt compelled to write a review when I saw other people did not like the seed. I have no idea what the pH of the soil is nor do I care to put that much thought into it I just wanted to water it and get a lawn. Im actually searching for another bag i liked it so much!

This is an accessible but theoretically sophisticated study of American lawns, and the reasons why people who are anxious about the effects of lawn chemicals on themselves, their children and their pets (including a woman who put booties on her dog when its paws bled after it walked on a chemically-treated lawn, rather than stopping the chemical treatment!) continue to use lawn chemicals and obsess over having a monocultured turfgrass lawn. Robbins writes with a minimum of jargon and name-dropping -- any undergraduate could easily follow his arguments without much difficulty -- but also quietly engages with actor-network theory, Foucauldian and Gramscian notions of power, hegemony and subject formation, as well as putting ecology into political ecology. It's a book which could sit equally well on an undergraduate or graduate syllabus, which speaks both to its clarity and the sophistication of its analysis. Highly recommended.

Super cute and functional
I LOVE this. I got it as a baby shower gift to go with the boon grass drying rack. It is very cute and makes my kitchen look "happy". In addition, it holds all those little rings and breast pump pieces up, so there is more room for bottles on the grass. If you have the boon grass drying rack the flowers are a nice FUNCTIONAL accent to add to it.

The only brand that works for my dog
We tried probably five different brands without any success until we tried this one. It appears that different brands/formulas could work fine for one dog but not another even though the ingredients seem to be the same. The first five brands did absolutely nothing with our female German Shepherd and the burn spots were destroying our lawn. After several months of trying one then moving on to another we finally purchased this one as a last attempt. After using this product for several days we caught our dog using the neighbor's lush green lawn and we panicked. We waited until the next morning to see if we needed to apologize or repair or make amends in some way, but the grass was as green as the day before without a sign of her being there. This works flawlessly for us.

It really does work.
I've been using this product for years - it really works. I put one pill in their food twice a day. My dogs are 65+ pounds each so I probably would do a little better if I gave them three pills per day. No side effects - no problems.
