At Last: A Kindle Friendly set of Scriptures
For years, prior to getting a Kindle, I had been using an old Palm Pilot M515, solely for my scriptures. I would carry it to work in my pocket and spend my lunch time reading.I got comfortable with the standard works that I downloaded from the LDS web site. They had the cross indexing that I needed.When I got the Kindle in May I discovered that Blackberry had the standard works for free. I downloaded them and used them on my Kindle 3G. I also downloaded from the Church web site the Gospel Princples and the Sunday School manual. The only draw back being that they were not interconnected with the standard works. I was not able to go to the scripture references in the manual and back again.I also didn't have the topical guide or the Bible dictionary.These were small "problems" which I learned to live with and ignore.I have tried, literally, every single set of LDS related scriptures that are currently on offer here at Amazon,...

Excellent. Has everything! Links, Footnotes, Images, Commentary, and more!
This is the best LDS Collection for the Kindle. It includes the complete Standard Works and, unlike most of the other LDS Scriptures in the store, this includes all the footnotes. I can't believe it also includes a few of the most popular classics like Jesus the Christ, Articles of Faith, Gospel Doctrine, and Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith.AND DID I MENTION LINKS? There are links EVERYWHERE. If you are in a book or a manual and you come across a scripture reference, it's linked right back to that scripture.ILLUSTRATIONS GALORE! It also includes all the Bible and Church History maps and photographs and even includes a bunch of other illustrations of LDS Temples, historical artifacts, and prominent members.

WONDERFUL! EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A GREAT PRICE!
When I downloaded this on my kindle, I was only going to spend a few minutes looking through it but wound up spending almost an hour reading! When you first open the book, it takes you to the first book in the Bible, Genesis. It took me awhile to figure out how to get to the other books, like the Book of Mormon, but all you have to do is press the back page on your kindle and it takes you to the others...at least, that's how I did it.It has everything you need and more! You can find scriptures easily and quickly, too. That's always a bonus! I like the footnotes and references...that's what captured my attention and made me want to read more.I love it and I think it is very much worth the price to have the scriptures on your kindle!!!
