Unbelievable
I purchased this set when moving into a new apartment. I cook perhaps twice a week for 4 people and this set has held up to typical use and abuse from 4 guys. My girlfriend is jealous because she spent double on some other set but likes these better.Pros--Price-Build-Versatility(I was able to make 4 stuffed peppers in the big pot)-The coating makes everything come off even after being refrigerated for a few days.Cons--The grooved bottoms trap soap sometimes which proceeds to burn.-The larger two-handled pots are hard to drain water from without using a colander.-The utensils gather/show soap residue. Very Nice Cookware Set
One thing that's not mentioned in the description is that the bottoms of them have a rounded grooved surface so they won't slide around on the burners (a zoom view of this would be nice to see with the other images). Everything else in the description is spot on.We've used them all since we got them and are very pleased with the whole set. The utensils have been very nice, also. They clean up very easily with the sponge-wand I use....my wife's broken me of using "scratchers", which is what did in the last set we had.We are very pleased with the quality of the whole set and would recommend it to anyone. A Great Set of Cookware
Let me preface this review with the fact that I am Italian and raised 5 children on daily home-cooked meals. The kitchen is the center of my home. So when my daughter got her own apartment out west and asked for a set of pots for Christmas, I wanted to make sure I got her a quality set that would last her for years and years. I knew what I wanted for her, but didn't know which brand to purchase. Non-stick was out (I have never liked it). The pots also had to be both dishwasher/oven safe, and I wanted the pot handles to be riveted into the pot. Off I went to the mall with my "specifications" in hand to look at the different brands and sets available. Boy was I amazed at how many there were! I took my time and examined each set. Not only did I look at the sets, but I also handled the sets. This is VERY important. Many of the quality sets were so heavy that I needed two hands to lift the larger pieces, and although I could lift the smaller saucepans, I had difficulty tilting...

Fantastic Cookware Set at a Terrific Price
After comparing major cookware lines, All Clad, Emeril, Wolfgang Puck, Jamie Oliver online, as well as in major stores, Williams Sonoma, Macy's, Linen n Things, etc., I purchased Cuisinart's Chefs Classic set. Quality, features, and value could not be matched! The price (with free shipping), also included a kitchen tools set, a nice bonus.Thanksgiving was my big "road test". The quality is outstanding! The mirror finish stainless kettles have a nice weight, well-fitting lids, classy sturdy riveted handles, flat bottoms that fit nicely on the burners, and stay-cool handles. They heat evenly. I do not like nonstick cookware, and by adding a little water to the pan after cooking, cleanup was a breeze. I put them all in the dishwasher and they come out sparkling. I bought a chrome potrack and display them proudly. They indeed look and perform like very high-priced cookware. This was indeed a great purchase!Any minor spotting or discloration from use,...

My "Black Friday" Purchase
The day after Thanksgiving, "Black Friday" is the official kick off of the Holiday shopping season. I have never participated in this event, however those 20% coupons to shop between 6AM and 11AM enticed me. I needed a new cookware set, since my old pots and pans dated back to before I was born.I am known as the "Research King" & "The Negotiator", so yes I did my homework. I was going to purchase a non stick set for $300.00, however you have to "feel" the set before buying. Is the weight even, do the covers fit right - you know what I mean. NOTE: I cook every night and have for years. I am not a Chef, but can cook a great meal.Right next to Anolon at Macy's Dept. store, was the Cuisinart 10 Piece Classic Stainless cookware. It looked good, the weight was even, the lids fit great, but why so inexpensive? I researched Cuisinart and knew it was a good brand, so after playing around with the pots and pans for 20 minutes I bought the set! So this is what I got:...

Unbeatable for price and quality
T-Fal's nonstick cookware is the best for the price. You can pay a lot more for nonstick pans: they'll be heavy and the nonstick feature is the same. If you're thinking that buying more expensive nonstick pans will make the nonstick finish last longer, you'd be wrong. That's what I thought. I have several expensive nonstick pans and the nonstick will peel off of those just as quickly as any other nonstick pan. What really makes the difference with nonstick is HOW YOU TREAT IT. Read the Do's And Don'ts when you get your pans. Never heat above medium. It'll take longer to bring water to a boil or to stir-fry, but it WILL get hot enough. Never wash your nonstick in the dishwasher and wait until it cools to hand wash. Always use plastic or wood utensils: never use anything that will scratch the surface. Don't use spray release cooking agents as you don't need them and they can cause a film to develop on the surface. Never let your pots boil dry - use a timer to remind... Top to learn more

Well thought out and well executed design
This is the set you want. Why? Here are some reasons. Some are about Stainless steel cookware in general, but all apply specifically to this set.o Stainless steel is sanitary. You can get them perfectly clean very easily. (Commercial food processors are often required to use stainless steel for nearly everything that comes in contact with food.)o Stainless steel cleans up nearly as easily non-stick cookware. You do clean it differently, however.o These pans have an aluminum core wrapped on both sides by stainless steel. Stainless steel does not transmit heat quickly but aluminum does. Aluminum is soft and dents easily, stainless steel is hard and strong. This means you get the toughness of stainless steel with the even heat distribution of aluminum.o Even heat distribution and rapid heating allows you use lower heat setting thus saving energy and reducing the chance of burning food.o Handles stay fairly cool,... You can pay more, but you can't buy better!
For those of you considering upgrading your cookware to professional grade stainless steel, look no further.I've owned this 12 piece set for over a year, and can't offer enough praise. It still looks brand new (use Barkeepers Friend to clean it). It heats evenly and quickly, retains heat for a long time, sears and browns well without burning, handles comfortably, cleans up easily and looks great! I'm fortunate enough to have several different types of cookware to compare. My cookware includes: All-Clad, JC Penny Elite (5 ply Copper Core), Chefmate tri-ply, Hard Anodized non-stick and Cuisinart Tri-Ply Copper. In my opinion, the All-Clad Stainless Steel line is much overated. Its great cookware, but has no rolled edges for easy pouring without making a mess, and I prefer the handles on just about any other brand. All-Clad's materials and construction are the same as the other premium lines, with the exception of the rolled edges. Incidentally, staunch... Top to learn more
Ah, the joy of cooking...
...with the right pot. When I was checking into buying more high-quality cookware a few years ago, I was totally sold on AllClad, but then a friend of mine whose job at the time was to test kitchen cookware (if you can believe that!) told me I should check out Cuisinart's MultiClad line instead. Turns out it's had the same features (and add-ons) as the AllClad I was so in love with (stainless steel wrapped around an aluminum core), but without the major price tag that comes with the "AllClad" name.So I got the Cuisinart line and absolutely have loved it ever since - I've even been adding to my collection every year or so.As far as comparing it to nonstick cookware...well, I still have some nonstick pieces, but I don't use them much - a little bit of Pam Cooking Spray, and I haven't had any trouble. It also comes with great cleaning instructions...in fact, mine still look almost new even though they're a few years old.----------... Top to learn more

Good for the price
I got these for around $50 and I think it's a great deal, since most other cookware sets are around 100 dollars. They also came with some utensils and 4 glass bowls. I don't love the utensils because they're not in the best condition and it's too bendy for me.... I haven't used the glass bowls yet but they're not the fresh seal kind of lids so for now I'm sticking with Rubbermaid containers. But overall the pots and pans work wonderfully. Easy to use and easy to clean! Top to learn more
I can’t afford to buy a whole set of ceramic cookware, so I was thinking of buying one or two at a time if there’s a sale. Hello Miss Connie, this is a very helpful post, especially for a worried homemaker like me who’s starting to think of changing my cooking pots and pans one by one. Cast iron, glass and ceramic cookware are among the most expensive cookware in the market. If you live in a place with a thriving clay pottery industry and, ergo, cheap and widely available clay pot cookware, you’d be fine. In fact, most of my cookware are ceramic Anchor Hocking pots. But if you have to import them, even cheap clay pot cookware will come out expensive. Of course, the exact amount required to cause mutations is under debate, and even when they do cause mutations, it is a matter of chance if the mutations occur in the genes that control cell division and death. If you have to spend so much money for “safe” cookware, will there be any left to buy food to cook in them. The first is practicality I love how much less oil I need to use (hey, I thought less oil is healthy — ain’t that the selling point of non-stick cookware. Now these mutations can either be inherited, or naturally occur as a result of proofreading errors during DNA replication when cells proliferate, or result from DNA damage brought about by certain toxins, chemicals or UV light. For instance, margarine makers say butter is bad because it is animal fat but butter makers claim margarine is even worse because of all the chemicals and artificial ingredients in it. Another example. All my cast iron, ceramic and class cookware were bought on sale — at regular prices, I can’t afford them.
This cookware actually lasts so long that it’s passed between generations, which is good, because you almost need somebody to teach you take care of it. In conclusion, copper is probably the material that makes the best cookware, but beginning... Many young people, buying cookware for the first time in their lives, having absolutely no idea what makes the best cookware for their money.
