IT WORKED!!!
When I bought the St. Joseph statue, my house had been on the market for 3 months without any offers. It was looking rather grim, so even though I wasn't entirely convinced burying a Catholic saint in my front yard would do anything, I was still willing to give it a try. I buried it on Wednesday. By the following Wednesday we had an offer! 1 week! That's all it took. Unbelievable. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but in my case this little statue seems to have worked. I say, if you're having trouble selling your house in this horrible economy, why not give it a try? You really have nothing to lose.A note about the statue: It's quite small. Nice Size and it works!

Controversial, but worked for me!
I know there is a lot of controversy with this concept, but I have to say, if you believe, it will work for you. The package specifically says it's all about the prayer, not the actual product, so you can't expect to just put it in the ground and sell your house. I buried this near the "For Sale" sign, upside down and facing my house, and said a heartfelt prayer about why I needed St. Joseph's help to sell our house. We had an offer on our house less than 2 weeks later, which we accepted. I left St. Joseph buried until we moved, and dug him up the last day in the house. Now we have him in the new house. Saint Joseph does work
I bought this Saint Joseph for my sister after her house was on the market for almost a year. Within a month her house sold. What a miracle. At the time I was making the purchase I got cold chills, she was on the phone with me at the time and told me she had gotten cold chills all of a sudden when I didn't even tell her about mine. I knew it was a sign.

I was extremely skeptical about the touted features of the St Joseph statue Home Seller. I have no doubts that God takes the time to bless pieces of plastic to help the faithful. However my faith waivers when it comes to real estate. Just Try It
After my father became terminally ill, we decided to sell their home to help with expenses and have them move in with me. We put the home on the market in late February 2009 and had very little interest (one low ball, insulting offer in April). Following my fathers death, I returned to his home (still on the market) after purchasing this statue. We had no other showing since the first and only offer. I buried this statue the day after my fathers funeral in June -- 13 days later we were under contract with an offer that was great. The price was lower than we initially expected, but there were no contingencies attached (not even a finance or inspection contingency). We closed 4 weeks later.I am not religious and I don't beleive in this type of hocus pocus--my dad did. Many friends told me about this and after 5 months on the market with no real activity I was desparate. Next time I try to sell a house I will use St. Joseph from day one.I did return to my... it worked
I put this in the ground next to my for sale sign and the house sold in 20 days. The only down side it when I went to go and dig it up(I even marked the spot with a brick) it was gone. dug up the ground around it and have no idea were it went to. The house was on the market since the end of September, while we were in the process of building a new house in another city. Although there were people who viewed the house and even liked it, there were never any offers even after the new house was complete the middle of March. We were starting to lose hope not only that we're ever going to sell the house, but that we're going to lose our new house. That is when a friend told me that he was risking my thinking he was crazy, but that I should know about St. Joseph because it worked for him when he was not having any luck selling his house in Florida. Exquisite!
I made it a point to write a review of this statue because the person before me called it a dollar store statue. I normally read reviews on Amazon and decide through them if I should get the item or not. This time, however, it was different because I promised someone that I would buy a statue of Saint Joseph through Amazon.com using my gift card. There was no other outdoor statue listed on Amazon except this one! But alas, it had a terrible review, which I ALMOST listened to. But after careful consideration and an email from Christmas Central telling me how well made this statue was, I bought it. I am so glad I did because it has to be one of the most beautiful statues of Saint Joseph I have seen. It is gorgeous! It is of course hollow inside, it would cost a fortune to ship if it wasn't! It can be filled with concrete or sand to be weighed down like most outdoor statues. It will find a very special place in my Mary Garden. Top to learn more

Burying a statue is superstitution and saying it disrespects St. Joseph, faithful, silent St. Joseph, that it hurts his feelings, somehow, is also superstitution. When you plant the St. Joseph upside down in your yard (or in a house plant if you have no yard) it will not grow, or flower or produce fruit - in fact you need not even water it. The only requirement is that when your home sells, you must dig it... We all know that the market is still in a funny place and trying to recover, so they opted to pull out all the stops and plant a St. Joseph statue to try and ensure house selling success. The superstition involves burying (planting) a statue of Saint Joseph upside down in the yard while your house is for sale. Apparently renters and first time home buyers need not despair -- there is a functional opposite to Saint Joseph, Our Lady of Loreto addresses situations in which one wants to buy or rent a house -- but I am not sure what direction you have plant... Three weeks later, on St. Josephs Feast Day, we got another offer and sold the house. I had never heard of planting a St. Joseph as a real-estate superstition, have you. It's a ridiculous superstition but I'm of the "eh, can't hurt" school of thought and was planning to bury one my parents sent to me when selling my house 18 months ago, but since my house sold before it was even officially on the market I ended up... Putting faith in a man made object is a form of worship (like the st. joe statue). "(A Statue of St. Anyone is idolatry and it directs worship to someone other than God)" - really, are you kidding. I am curious if any of you gardeners have had success with planting a St. Joseph.
It felt odd to go in and ask for a Saint statue, but the salesperson reached under the counter and handed me a packaged St. Joseph marketed to assist in selling a home. Our realtor told me that she had heard if a likeness of St. Joseph was buried in the yard, the Saint would bring his blessings and the house would sell. I bought a St. Joseph statue at a Christian bookstore. I buried the St. Joseph that she gave to me. The house did sell, but I never knew if his blessing helped. I am hoping that St. Joseph will work his magic… it is time to start the next chapter. We created incredible memories in both of our homes and the children had amazing public educations, but the house is too big for just my husband, dog and me. We come home from work and live in the kitchen and our bedroom. I loved that yellow farmhouse, the first home that my husband and I bought, but as a mother of three I knew that the town we were trying to move to would be best for the kids. The house is all that we can talk about with its space for the kids to come home, a little backyard for me to tend and a beautiful kitchen for the meals I love to prepare.
