Mother of Thyme is an ideal choice for planting between walkway stones or bricks and used as a ground cover. Like other thymes, the leaves are highly fragrant; great to inhale as you are walking along the pathway to the front door! This prostrate, mat-forming perennial with slim stems is lined with tiny, oval, hairy leaves which tend to be dark green. Clusters of pale lavender flowers appear in summer on plants that reach 2 - 4 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Grow like other creeping thymes, in well-drained soil in full sun. For best coverage as a groundcover, avoid planting in very cold or wet areas. The top photo gives you a good image of this ground cover plant when it is in full bloom. Mother of Thyme
I purchased these seeds a few weeks ago and promptly started germinating them. Every seed I planted grew. The only problem is how tiny the seedlings are, very delicate. So be careful watering these babies. Still early to attest to the growth and such. I use alot of moss in the pots, and keep them moist at all times.I will buy from them again.

These sprouted right away and smell delicious. Although I started my garden late, and these are fairly small, they are of great quality. I would recommend planting straight in the ground during the spring rains, because in my experience, plants do better without the transplanting. Love that they're organic.

Good quality seeds!
These seeds germinated very quickly. I am impressed with the success I've had with this particular brand of seed packs, I would say I had at least 90% germination with these and the plant itself are healthy and fragrant. Recommended!

Good Quality Herbs
The seeds arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. Mine did not come in little plastic pouches (as pictured). They arrived in what looked sort of like pill boxes with the name of the seed in each section printed on the tab. The pill boxes were shrink wrapped and delivered in a padded envelope. I planted them a few days after they arrived and at this time most of them have already started to sprout and grow. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because they did not arrive with any planting instructions so I'm not sure if the ones that haven't sprouted yet needed something done to them prior to planting or if they are just slow to sprout.

fast sprouting
The seller sent these seeds very, very quickly. Even though it's very late in the growing season (August) I decided to use one packet to see if it would grow. It has sprouted very quickly. I don't know if there is enough time for it to flower, but I am very pleased with the product and most of all the seller's promptness. I am excited to plant the rest of the seeds next spring.

Success!
I sowed the seeds directly onto the soil and had a little bit over a 50% germination rate. The seeds took slightly longer than expected, I almost thought they wouldn't sprout, but low and behold, about 2 weeks after I planted them tiny green leaves appeared! It is so amazing to see how plants can grow from such tiny seeds!
