Remembering
These were a gift to someone else, who loved them dearly. You get a "case" & about 10 sticks to a "pack". I thought there could have been more flavor or candy taste to them, but my friend said they are perfect, I agree with the other poster about the double the price for shipping YIKES!! Con: I was surprised that on my check out, nothing was said about tax, nor how much the shipping was going to be. Amazon mentioned (many times) that my items will have to ship to them, than they would ship to me. Which should have been nice, as I wanted the order to arrive together. So I was thinking that most of the order was going to be ground shipping, & part of the order was free shipping. What a surprise when the shipping was twice the price of the product's cost, plus tax!!!

Another hit!
My students (I really am a school librarian)love Brandon Mull's books as much as I do and I'm thrilled to know that a Utah author is making it big. If you haven't discovered him, I promise you won't be disappointed! The action is lively right from the beginning, the characters are well-written and engaging and Mull doesn't talk down to his readers. You can't go wrong. One note: How did all the editors of this new book miss a glaring error? It says (page 38) that Jefferson and Madison died on the same day, July 4th. Jefferson and ADAMS died on the same day, July 4th, 1826, and Monroe, not Madison, died five years later on July 4th.

Refreshing Imagery
Bradon Mull is a refreshing addition to literature, his book is new and exciting. I bought this for my daughter after reading both "Fablehaven" books (which are wonderful) and she loved it. Just good clean fun for the whole family my husband and myself have read them as well as my 15 year old. Everyone is waiting for the next one. He creates likeable characters with interesting personalities and great bad guys. The twists in turns in the plot are well developed. His adventures are every childs fantasy9 that of my were extra creative too). Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Very Nice Colors
These colors worked well when I was tinting fondant I was making. The colors were deep and it did not take much of the coloring to make the perfect shade of tiffany blue for the wedding cake. I also used the colors as "paint" on the white flowers I made so they looked like mock orange blossoms. I'd buy this again in a new york minute!!

Good if you want pastel tones
Firstly, and most importantly, these are susceptible to leaking! It's because of the little lids they have. The lids do seem to click on, but you also need to tighten them down (like screwing a jar lid closed) carefully or else they'll still leak. And store them upright.Secondly, you need to use a lot to get a deep color. I tested some out on a tiny amount of white melted candy coating and still only managed to get pastel shades. The red was particularly disappointing.But if you are after pastel colors, they come out beautifully!

Batwing Black
After a whole lot of research and paranoia over my new iPhone 3GS I bought the Speck Candyshell, and it's awesome. Not only do I feel the phone is protected, but it still looks just as sleek. This case does not take away from Apple's design quality, it merely protects it. The rubber inside doesn't scratch the iPhone and in case you drop it, the rubber will absorb the hit so that your phone doesn't. It came with a protective film for the screen but after applying it, I didn't like the look and feel so I took it off. The glass screen is one of the most attractive features of the iPhone, and putting plastic over it just isn't for me. I figure if the screen breaks I can get it replaced for about $50 at a repair store, and I can insure the device for $30 a year through my insurance carrier, which is much better than AppleCare because AppleCare doesn't protect you from spills, drops, etc... whereas insurance does. My advice is to buy a Speck Candy Shell for protection and Insurance for...

My search for an iPhone case is finally over
I will do a review by comparison, because I've spent a ridiculous amount of time and money on iPhone cases trying to find the right one. Here's my exposure to other cases I've bought, and why I think Speck has the best case. Ifrogz Luxe: The Luxe has a nice two-tone look, but the plastic protecting the iPhone is of very low quality. The coloring on the back of the case easily wears off upon daily use. Even worse, the tabs on the plastic that snap the two pieces into place will frequently break, rendering this case by far the least durable of the ones I've tried. SwitchEasy Rebel Serpent: This is a nice-looking one piece heavy duty case- almost too heavy duty though, as it detracts from the phone's sleekness. Although the silicone is high quality, my biggest problem with this case is aesthetics. All around a great case
I got this case to replace my incase Slider (which after only a few weeks had started scratching the chrome bezel and back of my brand new 3gs). I have been very pleased so far. It has a very snug, solid fit. It is not as slim as the Slider, but provides two layers of drop protection at only a hair more thickness. Best of all it does not add new scratches to my phone. It's not perfect, though: the vibrate switch cut-is not quite the right shape, as other reviewers have mentioned the earphone jack cutout is too small for some headphones (not a problem for me since I use the standard set), it's not terribly easy to get out of the case (but is really much easier than some reviews I have seen have suggested), and a few other things. But really, these are very, very minor issues. The main thing is that it protects my iPhone without damaging it and is a pleasure to use. Update- there are 3 versions of this case, this refers to version 2 (and 1)
This case is sturdy, lightweight, provides the most protection without being overly bulky. I've only seen a couple of cases that are "beefier", like the Otterbox, but who wants to put that in your pocket? (In fact they provide a belt clip because it doesn't fit in your pocket). 2 layers of protection, with a slick outside that won't get stuck in your jeans pocket, but a rubber inside with holes to make it light that will cushion the blow. Nice rim around the topside so if it fell face down it would be protected.Update: 9/22/2010I've seen received a new replacement case from Speck, and there are 3 important improvements. First and most important, the opening around the camera and flash has been enlarged to a "stretched circle" rather than a "keyhole". This completely eliminates the flash being reflected or bounced back over the lens, creating serious lens flare. You can now take perfect flash pictures. Awesome case - has one very serious flaw
01-06-2011 Update: In November of 2010 I finally received my new case. But I had by then found a great Incipio case that I just find perfect so I really didn't use the CandyShell. Over xmas I upgraded my wife to an iPhone 4 and so I put the newly received CandyShell on her phone. All the reflective flash problems have been fixed and the case fits perfectly. She really likes it and it's a solid case. I have a lingering issue that the side and top of the new case might "split" with frequent removal - my old candyshell case had begun to come apart at the top and sides due to the frequent removal needed for some docks. I am not sure if this has been fixed with the new case. I would advise if you use it, remove the case from the bottom and not the top - also try to not remove it unless you have to. --------- I did not buy this case from Amazon, got it from ATT, but thought I'd post my experience. Beware of the flash issue
I purchased one of these cases quite recently from Amazon (Oct 12) and they are still shipping models with the "keyhole" shaped flash opening that creates the glare issue. I've written to Speck to arrange for an exchange but no response yet. I would hold off purchasing this until you can be sure to get one with the fixed flash opening. The correct opening should be "pill" shaped. I will post an updated review when, someday, I get a fixed version of the case.
