Nice upgrade from the original iPhone 4 Defender case
I used the original Otterbox Defender case for my iPhone 4s, and while it worked ok, this version is a definite improvement. The hard plastic case and the screen protector seem to be the same as the original, other than having larger cut outs for the camera/flash and the front camera/light sensor/proximity sensor area. I never had issues using the 4s camera with the older version case, but I did with the proximity sensor and this case fixes that issue.The holster has been changed to update the release mechanism. The tab that holds the phone in the holster has been shaped differently in order to make the phone easier to clip in and release.The biggest upgrade is to the rubber jacket that fits over the plastic case. The rubber seems to be of much higher quality. It has a firmer, more substantial feel, and doesn't seem like it will lose shape over time. Great cover but not colored as pictured
This is a great cover as far as protection goes for my new iPhone 4S. It definitely adds bulk to the phone but with bulk comes the protection of my investment and I want the phone to last. I love the built-in screen protector and the fact that all the buttons depress quite well with the cover on. I love the color, although it is not as pictured. There is much more contrast between the darker teal rubberized outer portion and the hard plastic inner piece. The inner piece is not so much green colored as a light turquoise. All-in-all, I love it and would buy it again.

iPhone Safe!
If you're looking for the Super-Safe, Uber Protection for your iPhone, this case is it. It even has a built in screen protector that is smooth and flawless. I use it when boating, at the beach or by the pool. No, it is NOT waterproof... but definitely splash resistant. This case will protect your iPhone from drops, putting it in a purse, splashes and wet fingers/hands, etc. If you need extra protection this is the ideal case. It is sort of a puzzle to get on. So older hands may have a problem. Once on it stays there quite well... again, looks great too. Makes the phone larger, so if you'd like a larger phone in the hand feeling, this will help. Fits Verizon White iPhone 4
I received the pink and white case for my Verizon white iphone 4 yesterday. The case fits perfectly but I had an issue with the proximity sensor. Mine had a plastic covering with a vertical black strip over the proximity sensor. When I took the case off, the proximity sensor worked. This is what I did to fix the problem: I took the plastic covering off from the inside of the case. Cut the part off that covered the proximity sensor. Got a sharpie and outlined the inside of the case where the proximity sensor is. Placed the plastic covering back on (to protect the front camera). Placed the hard and silicone case back on the phone. Made a call and put my finger over the proximity sensor, it worked, then I put the phone up to my ear and it worked! I HIGHLY recommend this case to ALL iPhone 4 users. It's worth it!

Kinect from a hardcore gamers' perspective (though self-professed)
Thank you for reading my review and I hope it helps you get off the fence on this great item. Being an owner of roughly every console since the Atari 2600 (yes I'm in my late 30's) I could not help but give my review of this system and a couple of games we picked up along with the Kinect system. I remember standing at a best buy for hours before buying the WII on launch day. It was a fresh concept with a new direction and revolutionary in what it did and how it did it. We enjoyed it but with the lack of strong first person titles it got old. But because it was revolutionary it endured and was a smash success despite it's lack of many quality games (yes it had great experiences) but not deep gameplay (though Twighlight Princess was a great game and showed the potential of the system) Here we are about 4 years later and with only minor exceptions the WII has found success by catering to children and the casual crowd along with providing some excellant fitness type concepts...

Brilliant!
This is mostly a duplicate review from my Xbox360+Kinect Bundle review... I only found out about Kinect a couple of weeks ago. After reading some of the preliminary reviews, I was intrigued enough that I pre-ordered it almost immediately. Since first finding out about it, I have read as many reviews as I have had time to read. Unfortunately, the more I read the more leery I got about my pre-order. Most of the reviews complained about lag, or the space requirement, or that the games were nothing more than regurgitated Wii games, and how every game title ever developed wasn't re-developed for Kinect on launch day. WTF? Setting up Kinect was a breeze. Plug and play. A few setup items and you're ready to go. We moved the coffee table out of the way and moved the couch back a couple of feet to get the 6-8 foot distance recommeded in the documentation. But I don't think you need that much space, honestly. 4.5 stars - very pleased so far
First off, I have a hard and fast rule - never buy first generation equipment, especially from Microsoft, and especially when it's brand new technology. However, rules are made to be broken, right? :) My boyfriend's birthday is today, and he really wanted the Kinect for his birthday - it was a sign that it was released the day before his birthday, right? :) So, like a good girlfriend (and fellow gadget addict), I ordered it from Amazon for him and it was waiting for us yesterday when we got home from work. Props to Amazon for flawless release date delivery! He had it set up before I got home and reported that the setup was very simple. What took the most time was re-configuring the furniture and figuring out the best place to put the sensor. We have the 360S, so the device was plug and play. We tried the Kinect Sports and Your Shape games, we also have the Adventures game that came with, and I plan on getting the Dance Central game as well...

Exactly the same as the white controller
I bought this black wireless controller so I could have another wireless controller. Be advised when reading reviews on this product that it appears some people are reviewing the , which is a special controller that is different (and more expensive as of this writing) than the black controller I am reviewing. This controller does NOT have any chrome items on it (other than the usual Xbox Guide button), nor does it have any upgrades to the D-pad. As far as the controller itself, I didn't notice any structural difference between this controller and my old white controller that came with my Pro 20GB Xbox 360 several years ago. A must-have for XBox 360 Gamers
If you've got an XBox 360, you really need to get your hand on one or two wireless controllers. These controllers are GREAT for keeping your gaming area free of clutter. To start with, the controller is much smaller than the standard XBox controller was. For control items, you start with the standard blue X, yellow Y, red B and green A buttons. There are two thumbsticks, one on the upper left and one in the center right. There is also a directional (d-pad) in the lower left. Next, you have a pair of shoulder buttons at the "top" of the unit, up above the other buttons. You also have a pair of triggers below those shoulder buttons. Finally, you have a center X button that can be used to turn the console on and off, plus a "start" and "back" tiny white buttons on either side of it. Same controller just different color scheme
Despite other opinions - this controller is only different in color scheme from the older controllers. In fact - my left trigger annoyingly squeaks - ironically all my older controllers (5 in total - including the red and blue ones - which I use as spares and for friends)never squeaked. Basically the color scheme is all black - no gray. And a shiny garish chrome power button. It has the exact same feel the older controllers have. I think some of the reviews claiming it has a different feel or has different performance has to be imaginative wishful thinking. I noticed no change in performance (and due to the squeaking trigger actually worse quality than my older ones!) I also noticed no different power consumption as compared to the earlier controllers. I use rechargeable batteries so can't comment on AA battery drain - but again - I'd be wary of opinions that somehow this controller had been redesigned to reduce power consumption when everything else is identical to...

Tickled Pink
Although, the color was one of the top reasons for choosing this drill- Don't let the color fool you. It is a great drill. It has enough power, without being too heavy. I love the fact that it comes with 2 rechargable batteries- My husband was even jealous of this drill's performance- Of course, he can't be seen using it! :) Which is a definite plus- I will never have to dig thru his tools to find it! Pretty, Powerful Drill
I must admit that I was skeptical before ordering this drill. I needed a drill, so I decided to take a chance. I'm very glad that I took that chance. First of all, this is a 18 volt drill. Great Drill!
I thought it would be a piece of crap like other pink tools, but this thing has torque. I do prefer my pink drill from tomboy tools (because it's lighter), but I enjoy having both so that one doesn't get worn down too fast. I also worry about replacement batteries (that's the reason why I gave it four stars). In any case. This is a great set. I've had it for one year now. No complaints.

I have a Verizon iPhone 4 and ordered this from OtterBox before they were out at other retail stores. Fits great with no wiggle room inside. Great feeling case, doesn't feel like it's a fish and wants to jump right out of your hand. Easy access to all ports. The front pieces that protects the screen DOES NOT hinder any finger gestures what-so-ever. My OtterBox has paid for itself already when I had my hands full as I was getting out of the car and simply I forgot it was in my lap... after the solid hit to the cement and heart started beating again, I brought myself to assess the damage. There was NONE! Still works like a charm like it did right out of the box. No cracked screen/glass. The OtterBox is without a mark as well. OtterBox saved the day. Universal Design Fits Verizon iPhone 4 Perfectly
I have been searching for the Otterbox Defender specifically for the Verizon iPhone 4 and have yet to find it locally at any retail store. Since it is $50 at Otterbox directly (plus shipping) I waited until Amazon offered the universal design. I was hesitant as another reviewer said it did not fit the Verizon model. I believe that reviewer ordered it before the universal one was offered as this DOES FIT the Verizon iPhone. I tried the AT&T one in Best Buy and you are not able to mute the phone with that model unless you have microscopic fingers. This universal design fits the verizon phone perfectly and I have no trouble at all muting the phone. I can't attest to it's durability yet as I only got it yesterday but it is a solid case and has screen protection as well. Hope this helps if you are looking for a case for the Verizon iPhone.

Excellent protective case for Verizon iPhone 4 with some caveats.
*Updated 11/19/11First and foremost, if it's solid protection you're after (and if you're prone to dropping your phone) you need a hard case for the iPhone because it's made of glass. It's a great phone functionally, but if you drop it as is, you're done. Many have those slim, trendy skin cases but they will not protect the phone against a drop even if they look cool. Apple and Verizon don't seem to be up front about how delicate the phone is. I researched cases quite a bit and this one kept coming up. Highly protective, and it fits my Verizon phone perfectly. Make sure you get the UNIVERSAL case for Verizon so it fits. The built in screen protector is crystal clear and DOES NOT LEAVE watermarks or streaks like other cases with a built in screen do.
