Fantastic Magazine
Interview is a small magazine with big ambitions. All the latest news in entertainment, fashion, and politics can be found within it's colorful pages. The photography is amazing, and grand in scale, although the magazine is packed full of ads (which are equally as colorful I might add). This is NOT entertainment weekly- Interview is the indi-film of magazines, and the people and films it covers are not usually those found in typical magazines. Instead of focusing on the actor du jour, Interview covers the up & coming, the soon to be, and the undiscovered. The interview formats are fascenating and unique, as most are done by celebrities, of celebrities. If one is looking for typical hollywood gossip, Warhol's masterpiece is not for them. At such a cheap price, Interview is a gem that is yet undiscovered by many. I highly recommend it!

The ultimate pop culture magazine. We bring you up close and personal with the biggest celebrities that are shaping pop culture for today & tomorrowfrom the world of movies, music and fashion. Top to learn more

The brainchild of Andy Warhol back in the heyday of the '70s club culture, Interview magazine has morphed from newsletter and photo essay of the Studio 54 set to the arbiter of what defines cutting edge for the nation (well, at least those in the nation who believe New York to be the center of the universe). It's magazine chic at its highest. When you pick up the magazine, don't look for Julia Roberts; look for the woman who will eclipse Julia in the next five years. The concept of the magazine couldn't be simpler--Q&A format, accompanied by photographs--but the Q is often provided by celebrity interviewers, and the A is usually extremely insightful, intriguing, and candid. And the photographs are the crème de la crème, by A-list lensers like Bruce Weber, Herb Ritts, and Annie Leibovitz (if you don't know them by name, this is definitely not the magazine for you). Nudity and profanity may put off some readers; others will be pleasantly titillated. --Mark Englehart Top to learn more

Finally something fresh.
I know "Interview" has been around awhile, but I just recently got into it. In short, if you're into the arts, it's your magazine. It touches on music, movies, fashion, and everything inbetween. And often the interviews of celebrities are done by other celebs, like "Jim Jarmusch" doing a Q&A with "The White Stripes", just like they're sitting in a room chatting, very casual. I like that. Also the photography is tops, and often takes up the whole page (good mini-posters). They're good about not exposing the same old people too, lots of fresh faces, usually cool. Hey, if it's good enough for "Andy Warhol", it can't be bad, huh?

Product Description

V Magazine was launched in September 1999 as the younger sibling publication to the limited-edition quarterly Visionaire. If Visionaire is a couture book, V is ready-to-wear. V is large-format and visually-driven, international in scope and collaborative in spirit. V is a magazine about fashion with a capital F and all the things that go with it: art, music, film, architecture...you name it. Before V was put into print, we thought of it this way: Imagine a wall of forty-four televisions, each tuned to a different station. Today you would need a wall of 250 televisions, but it's still a good way to think of the insane and unpredictable mix of people, places, and things that V celebrates in its pages. V is a place where uptown meets downtown, celebrities mingle with total unknowns, high art converses with underground culture. Chic, wacky, fun, fabulous...in a letter: V. Top to learn more

Customer Review

Love the case!
The color is a bit bright and it is plastic (the two reservations I had about ordering it), but read tons of other reviews on other products and there were enough complaints that I decided to try this one because I love the giraffes and have some faith in Kate Spade products (clothing). I am not disappointed at all, it fits well and offers protection for the front with easy access at each port (complaints I read about other cases). It has been dropped a few times already and not a scratch or crack! I am getting used to being able to find it by the bright color and would recommend it. Several compliments from others who see it, it's cute!

Super Cute!
I saw this case on the Kate Spade website but it sold out very quickly. Found it on Amazon from a seller that had it for a cheaper price and had to have it. It's actually stylish without looking like a toy cover. And the smooth orange color just makes your Iphone stand out that much more. It's also very sturdy, so all around, a quality case for your phone.

Pioneer Car CD Changer Magazine
Kinda hard to say a whole lot about CD changer magazine, but this one does the job well. Little trouble in extracting each 'sleeve' that holds the disc in place. Rugged design, and easy to load and unload into the changer (It helps that I'm able to put the six-disc changer into the glove box).I wouldn't mind if Pioneer put an extra label in the package since it's I sometimes reorganize my discs. I have several CD changer magazines and some discs 'fall out of favor' and get replaced with other CD albums.

CD Magazine JD612V
I am old school and do not use MP or IPOD because I use hearing aids and using them make one or the other kind of useless. I have a small music libary of country music so I listen to it on my car cd player and the unit I have takes these Pioneer JD612Vs. I ordered several so I can make up magazines and have them available for use instead of loading the only one I got with the player. These new magazines work beautifully and will get more later on. Thanks a bunch

I don’t know what the latest demographics of the festival are (they’re never made known to anyone but sponsors), but based on observation, it seems to me that your 45 to 54 age group are probably the demo that the festival is going after, based on... It’s also significant to note that these two demographics, particularly the older one are the people who have the money it takes to attend an event that has a $50 to $60 admit ticket, plus the disposable income to travel to New Orleans, stay in a... This year’s fest was probably the biggest and best ever (at this writing attendance numbers haven’t been released, and one can only guess on the revenue they made as those figures are never made public). The revenue from the addition of the “Big Chief,” “Grand Marshal” and “Krewe of Jazz Fest” tickets now are slowly but surely creating a wider and wider class divide amongst attendees. Great weather, good music, big-drawing performers, and huge crowds equals big dollars. Great weather, good music, big-drawing performers, and huge crowds equals big dollars. Thus, the city has got to love the Jazz Fest market: they’re older, they don’t get drunk and stupid, they appreciation the music and finer cultural aspects of the city. (In my experience with the Jazz Fest over the years, the “I’m behind the police barricade and you’re not” mentality has always permeated the event, so in some ways there’s always been sort of an elitist mentality. In the past few years, they’ve also been able to come up with ways to cater to the wealthier demos by establishing “classes” of Jazz Fest ticketing to make attendees feel special and privileged. On the broader scale, Berry stands for land conservancy, reforestation, clean waters and rivers, farmers’ markets, wholesome foods, care of animals, protection of wildlife, and a more intimate relation of man to land. ” This Northern Kentucky locale allows him to tell the stories of various families and their offspring who settle along the river, develop and farm the land, watch their succession of children grow up, and see them lost to the land once they go... The very first thing that struck me in reading the lecture was the curious logic of his contrast between James Duke, the founder of the American Tobacco Company and Duke University, over against Berry’s own grandfather with his small Kentucky farm... Indeed, since people are seen as threats to both land and animals, we should control people, reduce populations, radically limit technology, leave the earth as if we were never on it or intended to be on it. Berry is not quite in this extreme... It was only because Berry’s father was a lawyer, not a farmer, that the land remained in his family’s hands. Except perhaps for one piece of land, none of the farms on either side of the family are still in family hands. ” I have read and loved Berry’s stories and novels, the weaving together of lives, land, and country over the course of a century and more. The extremes of animal love and land love, no doubt, forbid us to do anything with either of them. His whole lecture centers on his grandfather’s land that is still owned by Berry and his brother. Berry has, in a way, taken this idea and applied it to the land as well as to animals. I recall my father telling me that, in the Depression in the late 1920’s, his family lost its land for lack of a lawyer and the added death of his father at the time.

Trace the edge of the oyster with the shucker to separate the shells, and cut the meat clinging to the top shell with the side of the shucker before discarding it. Now, loosen the meat from the bottom shell of the oyster, try to eliminate any... So dig into oyster shucking while local oyster season is still here.
