Actually I wasnt' sure if I would like spending so much for a gas can but now that I have used it a few times I am glad I bought it. The can has a spill proof spout so you can fill it up with a car and you cannot smell the gas while you are driving home. The spout works when you press it against the edge of the tank you are filling. To stop the flow, just lift up on the can. No mess. No spilling.

These are good cans. If they had a better, more durable spout, they would get five stars from me. WITHOUT IT THE FUNNEL WOULD NOT FIT INTO THE HOLE IN THE FUEL TANK; WITH THE ABILITY TO ANGLE THE EXTENSION I CAN KEEP THE FUNNEL IN A LEVEL POSITION WHILE FUELING, IF IT DID FIT THE TANK, IT WOULD STILL BE AT AN AKWARD ANGLE SINCE THE TANK HOLE IS SO CLOSE TO THE BODY OF THE HEATER. THIS ALL IS VERY IMPORTANT - SINCE ANY WATER IN THE KEROSENE WOULD FOUL THE WICK AND CAUSE BAD BURNING OF THE KEROSENE, OR DISABLE THE HEATER COMPLETELY. I SWEAR BY THE FUNNEL AND THE EXTENSION, WHICH BY THE WAY I HAVE NOT FOUND ANYWHERE EXCEPT AT AMAZON. GREAT PRODUCT!!
Use This with the Mr. Funnel. Which is a must have for outboard motors! Filters the water and junk from gas station fuel, before it turns into a big repair bill! I carry a glass jar with a lid for the excess that can't be filtered. When its full, I re filter the excess into my truck tank. It has stopped a lot of junk from going into my outboard! It does take extra time to filter at the gas station, but its worth it.
