Great lesson
This book was a little short for my 7 year old, but she still loved it. I'm trying to transition her to books with less pictures and more words, so this was like a breath of fresh air for her since it was full of bright pictures and didn't have a lot of words. She loved the pictures and had fun reading the book. The story rhymes, so it is fun for kids to read. The moral of the story was great and the way it was written it is very simple for kids to understand and relate to the characters. We read this on our Toshiba Thrive and will probably read it many more times to come.

Great lesson and cute!
I found this story through Pixel of Ink. At first I was disappointed with the size of the pictures for a children's story. After reading the story and talking to my son about it, I love this story!! As a therapist and mother who has read thousands of children's books....this is no easy feat! I love this story and so does my son! When it comes to sharing...I say to my son..."Are you going to be like bear or are you going to share?". He always thinks about it for 1-2 seconds and then says...I'm going to share!!!!!!

My son enjoys this book for $1 you can't go wrong!
My 3.5 year old loves bears so I bought this to read to him before bed. He loves it. We read it at least 3-4 times a week, I definitely got my dollars worth out of this purchase! It teaches a good lesson on sharing which is something we are working on and at 3.5 he understands that the animals are sad when the bear doesn't share. So good for even younger children than the recommended age range.
